after dark are treated to a great view of the National Monuments bathed
in lights.

transportation in the local area is abundant. An hour drive to the south
or north will provide you with a choice of international airports. Generally,
BWI is the cheapest airport for most flights leaving the area but it is
the farthest away. If you are very ambitious, you may also want to check
out the Virginia Beach area for flights, it is only a 2.5 hours drive.
