The Historic Town of Bowling Green is the County Seat of Caroline County and is home to 300 families. The Town of Bowling Green located 72 miles south of Washington, D.C. and 35 miles north of Richmond. Bowling Green borders Fort A.P. Hill (http://www.belvoir.army.mil/fortaphill/) military reservation. Fort A.P. Hill encompassed 77,000 acres of the County. The Town became the county seat of Caroline County in 1803.

The tiny Town of Port Royal is home to just under 100 families (200+ citizens). Port Royal is located 51 miles south of Washington D.C.
