| The Spotsylvania County
Board of Supervisors comprised of 7 elected officials. They are elected
from each of the seven districts in the county. All seven members
serve concurrent terms of four years. The Board of Supervisors sets county
policies, adopts ordinances, appropriates funds, approves land rezoning
and special exceptions to the zoning ordinance, and carries out other responsibilities
set forth by the county code. The Board of Supervisors meets the first Tuesday of each month beginning at 1:00 p.m., and the third Tuesday, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are held in the Board of Supervisors Chambers located in the Stafford County Administration Center, 1300 Courthouse Road, Stafford, Virginia.
