First Friday Music and Market
This is a monthly block party held in the historic district of Old Town Fredericksburg. This event includes live music, dancing, great food, and more. There is a charge for this event.

Taste of Fredericksburg
Come and enjoy a sampling of the culinary delights of many local restaurants, including great food, drinks, and music. This event is held at Fredericksburg Square. There is a charge for this event.

Civil War Weekend
Scene of four major civil war battles, the Fredericksburg area hosts a four-day weekend of colorful living history, expertly guided tours, music, and special events.

Fork It Over Festival

Memorial Day
Luminaria
Two luminarias placed at the grave for each of 15,300 soldiers buried at the Fredericksburg National Cemetery with guided tours. Fredericksburg National Cemetery (next to the Battlefield Visitors Center) from 8:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.. For more information call: 373-4510.  http://www.nps.gov/frsp/luminari.htm

There are normally brief cermemonies at both the National Cemetery and the Confederate Cemetery in Fredericksbug, plus one at the Masonic Cemetery.
